PMS Tiger

Just Frustrated.

Ok. I've been waiting since Friday morning for my Nurse Practitioner to call me back and recommend a good Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor for me for my vertigo. I have yet to hear from her. I tried to call my doctor's office but the line was busy. I kept trying, but it still was busy. Finally, my boss, C.D. recommended that I ask T.C.O because she's been to numerous doctors for various reasons and would probably know a good E.N.T. doctor. He was right. She recommended her ENT to me. I am going to call them tomorrow and make an appointment. I am so sick of being dizzy!

Work is going well so far. Didn't really have many commercials or promos to dub which is always a blessing. Later.

God put me

Ouran anime is over! NOOOOOO!

I just finished watching the last episode of Ouran High School Host Club (#26). It was really good. The discussion Kyouya's father and Tamaki's father had at the end about Haruhi was just too hilarious! The anime did follow the manga quite well at first and then it just went into it's own direction. I thought the last episode was good, but I don't want it to end! At least I'm grateful that I got to see all of it before it gets licensed.

I bought a recipe software called, "MasterCook Deluxe: Your Complete Recipe and Nutrition Manager Version 9.0". It has over 8,000 recipes and even allows you to import your own recipes. You can even search for recipes based on an ingredient, or something specific that you're looking for such as low sodium or what not. It even gives you the nutritional value of the recipes. (calories, carbs, sodium, and etc.) Some recipes even have a small quicktime video accompanying it so as to show you how to prepare the recipe correctly. It's really neat software and only cost about 20 dollars.

My soon to be sister-in-law is on the hunt for a souffle baking pan for me. She had a few ideas as where to get one. I can't wait to finally have a sister after almost 26 years of just 3 older brothers! Her name is Ann and she is really great! Ann and my brother Varqa are getting married in Sienna, Italy in March. I won't be going to Italy, but my other brothers will be going. A few of their friends will be going as well. I'm sure it'll be spectacular!

Well, I've got to get up really early tomorrow because I have an appointment with my doctor to get a physical. It's been almost 3 years since the last one. I am really behind. I need to get my eyes checked soon as well. It's been about 2 years since my last eye exam. Ugh! I am such a slacker!

The Tenth Day

Today started with me getting up at 10:30 and getting to my doctor's office by 11:10am. However, the lab is only opened between the times of 8:30am-11:00am and 2:00pm-4:00pm. I decided to just go back at 2 and get my blood test done. I went to Barnes and Noble and got a couple of books. Yes, I got my fix. I then went home, ate lunch, and then watched Jurassic Park II: The Lost World. You know, it's weird. 9 out of the 10 nightmares that I will have are about a dinosaur chasing me and trying to eat me. The other nightmare is always about me messing up at work or not knowing what's going on at work. I HATE those nightmares!

So, I go to my doctor's office in the afternoon. Two minutes after I enter the waiting room for lab tests/x-rays, guess who comes in? R.P.M. from work. I couldn't believe it! I know M.G. goes to the same doctor's office because he recommended this doctor's office to me. R.P.M. said that his doctor in Mebane transferred him to this doctor's office. When I was talking to the receptionist she saw that I work at a tv station and then proceeded to ask me what it is I do there. I discussed this with R.P.M. He agrees that every time we're asked what we do, we have to go through this long explanation of a what an M.C.O. does and what not. The lab tech informed me that I really only need to get a blood test done once a year once my thyroid has stabilized. Yeah! My doctor gave me a prescription which I will pick up my medication tomorrow. The lab tech also informed me that I hadn't had a physical in almost 3 years. I immediately made an appointment for Monday on my way out of the doctor's office.

On my way home, I stopped and checked the mail. My books arrived from the science fiction book club! Woo-hoo! I have so many books to read now! I hope to start reading the first book of Pern tomorrow on my first day off. Well, I've got to get ready to go to work. I'm hoping today's work load is light. M.B. is doing his first weekend alone on overnight. I really don't want to leave him stuff to do. This is my tenth day in a row on 2nd shift. Ugh!
