And They Call Me: "Errand Girl"
I woke up early to go grocery shopping this morning. First to Super Wal-mart in Raleigh and then to Earthfare which is down the street from it. Wal-mart had Tangelos for 33 cents each. I couldn't resist getting a bunch. I just hope the fruit tastes good. I always end up spending more than I want to at Earthfare. All that healthy food. I just can't resist. For some odd reason, I am getting this urge to buy an aquarium and fish again. Then, I think back to the time I had a 10 gallon aquarium and several fish and how much of a hassle it is to keep the aquarium clean and all the illnesses fish can get. Ugh! If I ever do decide to go the fish route again, it will be a very small aquarium with just one or two fish. That's it!
I managed to get home around 11am. I put away all the groceries and ate some lunch. I then decided (since I managed to remember to buy a padded manila envelope)to mail my hair to "Locks of Love". They're actually located in Florida. I had no idea where they are located. I looked them up on the net and filled out and printed their donation form. I measured my hair (about 14 - 16 inches long) and put it in a ziploc bag, wrote down the length and sealed it in the envelope along with my donation form. I was trying to avoid going to the post office to see how much postage I needed, but I ended up going anyway. I got to the post office around 12:15pm. I only had to wait in line for about 10 minutes. Not nearly as long as I thought it would be. I made sure to get Delivery Confirmation so I'd know when they have received my hair. It only cost $1.71. My hair is thick and heavy. I knew it would be over a dollar. Anyways, I'm very happy to have finally sent out my hair and hope that another certain someone who shall remain nameless (you know who you are) will finally send out her hair, if she hasn't done so already. Hee hee! :)
Alrighty then, it is now time to change my kitty's cat litter box. Yippee! Not!
