MCOQueen's Ramblings

Haven't really done much today. I was planning on going to buy some new shoes to wear to the wedding and the rehearsal dinner, but I investigated my closet and found two pairs of shoes that will work perfectly. Yeah, no need to buy new shoes! I need to go to my parents' apartment and pick up the luggage I will be taking with me. I need to start washing clothes and packing. I'm leaving early Sunday morning. I'm a little nervous. I haven't been on a plane in 6 years. I hope I don't have a window seat. Heights and I don't really get along.

Work last night was really hectic. It honestly felt like a Friday. The Cardinals/Mets game yesterday got rained out, so the Detroit/Oakland game aired instead. Tonight, We're supposed to be showing the Cardinals/Mets game and if it rains out, we have to go to backup programming. There isn't another game the network can go to tonight. I just checked Weather.com and saw that there's only a 20% chance of rain tonight in New York. Yay!

I did manage to read a little bit of Jasper Fforde's "The Big Over Easy" today. insignia_void lent me this book. It's the book she just finished reading. It's pretty cool so far.

Well, I should probably get off my lazy butt right now and do a few things before going to work. Later.
