MCOQueen's Ramblings

Since Tuesday, I've been trying to get my lease renewal done for my apartment.  Thomas, Adib, and I went and got them to add Thomas and remove Adib from the lease.  We were pressed for time so we didn't wait for the lady to print out the lease.  She said she'd send it to our door. Wednesday goes by and still no lease.  Thursday comes and I go to the apartment office and the lady there tells me that the other lady is on vacation and they are very short-handed and the leases should be printed out by Friday (Today).  I just went over there and the same lady from yesterday tells me that the other lady is out to lunch and that they had a computer problem yesterday and the leases weren't printed out yet.  She says the lease will be on my door by the end of business hours today.  I was like, "Aren't they due TODAY?  I have to work at 4.  I can't turn it in today."  She said it would be okay to turn it in tomorrow.  I am SO irritated right now.  Why was the other lady allowed to go on vacation at the worst time possible especially when they are short-handed?  Incompetence knows no bounds.  

I'm working on Memorial day.  In fact, I'm going in 3 hours early.  Overtime!  Yee-haw!  Holiday pay!  Cool!  I really should start preparing for my trip to Minnesota.  I'm leaving the 8th of June and coming back on the 13th.  Strangely enough, I'm actually off work on the 14th and 15th.  8 days without working.  Awesome! 

I was not happy that Apolo won Dancing with the Stars.  I'm not surprised that he did win.  I would have preferred Joey and Kym win instead.  They were just so much better and so much more entertaining.  Apolo had the teenage girls on his side.  At least the teenage vote didn't rule on American Idol.  Jordin won and I was very happy about that.  What I wasn't happy about was the fact that the show went over by 9 minutes and 5 seconds.  I had to slide the start of the News and spent the rest of my shift sliding shows.  Network is airing a movie tonight.  It's "Lara Croft:  Tomb Raider".    I've actually never seen it. 

On Sunday Dad, Thomas and I are going to take the canoe out and go fishing.  We're going to go really early before it gets too hot out.  So You Think You Can Dance started last night.  I was too busy in satellite last night or I would have watched it.  My back is still bothering me.  I swear I'm going to go to the chiropractor sometime next week.  I can't take this pain anymore.
