Fun Day
I woke up to a phone call from my dad. He wanted to know if I could pick him up from work today since Mom had the car because she had a p.t. appointment. I said, "Sure!" He also asked if I wanted to stay for dinner. Today was guy's night at Adib and my apartment. No girls allowed. I could have stayed in my room but I decided to just chiil over at my parent's place until 10pm. I actually sat down and watched television for recreation, not because I had to. I watched "40 dumbest celeb quotes ever" on VH1. I couldn't believe some of the stupid stuff celebs have said. I also saw a preview for a special on the discovery channel called, "Inside the Womb: multiples". Apparently they've put a camera inside women who're expecting multiples in order to see how the babies interact with one another in the womb. From the preview, it looked really cool. I set it to record on my parents' DVR. It airs this Sunday from 8pm-10pm on the Discovery Channel. I don't have cable at my place.
Because I knew my brother was going to need the dining room table tonight, I moved my puzzle which is sitting on a big piece of cardboard (like you would use for a science project) onto my bed. I didn't really have anywhere else to put it. When I got home tonight, Vita was sleeping on top of my puzzle. I could not stop laughing. When I went to move the puzzle back to the dining room table, I bumped the cardboard and basically dislodged several pieces I had already put together and dropped several pieces on the floor. I think an expletive came out of my mouth at that time. Bad me! Bad!
I had spent several hours today reading, "Heiress for Hire" by Erin McCarthy. She is a chick-lit writer. Although, her latest books are supernatural chick-lit/romance books. "Heiress for Hire" is to freaking funny! It is also very sweet. I really like this author. Great, ANOTHER chick-lit author that I like. I have too many favorite authors already as it is. Oh well. It's not a bad hobby to have.
Oh, I also read Beauty is the Beast Volume 5 which is the last one in the series. I liked it. I was a little confused at the end until I saw the "Family Portrait" part at the very end of the graphic novel. I also read the last book in the "From Far Away" series. It was good. I'll have to remember to bring both on Friday for
insignia_void . Well, it's getting late. I think I'll re-read "Heiress for Hire" and then go to bed. Later.
